Onitsha NASS member 2 day training for 400 constituents on Bio-Gas, empowerment  ends

A two day training program  for 400 constituents of Onitsha Federal Constituency on Bio Gas for domestic utilization and strategic renewable energy skills and acquisition  training program sponsored by the member representing Onitsha North/$outh Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Idu Emeka Godwin, has ended.

The event, held adjacent to Godwin Achebe stadium, Fegge Onitsha, was presented by Awesomely-Green Nigeria Limited, aimed at constituents acquiring skills in Bio-Gas for domestic utilization..

It was gathered that Mr. Solomon Frank Alagbi, a consultant in National Assembly, was the resource person that trained the constituents that numbered 400.

Expressing satisfaction with the training, the lucky beneficial constituents who smiled home with #50,000 each, said, "It is important that we celebrate and extol the virtues of Hon. Idu Emeka Godwin who attracted and sponsored the programm

Speaking, the Personal Assistant to Hon. Idu, Mr. Gilbert Alama, said the Women and Youths of Onitsha North and South were unanimous in their praise of this forward thinking representative, that not only saw the need for them to key into this largely untapped field by rigorously training them, but ensured that the right tools and resources were made available to give them a headstart in the global race to dominate this energy segment.

The training according to Alama, has indeed been an intensive training that saw world class facilitators taking participants on the rudiments of solar energy skills.

 According to him, "Ochilima ga Achi-ozo", as he continues to set the pace for human capital development and with the way over 400 smiling faces that underwent this training, there is no doubt that Hon Idu Emeka administration one year in office has been an outstanding, record breaking in Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency," he stated.

Expressing satisfaction, Mrs Ngozi Ezedueme, from ward 9, Onitsha North, said that Idu should be re elected for his philanthropy even as she prayed God to guide and direct him, adding, " He sponsored my child's WAEC fee," she  disclosed.

In her own speech, Mrs Omaliko Mercy, from ward 2, Oniitsha North, prayed God to keep him to continue in his philanthropy adding that she had earlier benefited from wrapper Idu gave to women, even as another beneficiary, Mr. Udoji Chris, from ward 2, Oniitsha South thanked Idu for his love to his constituents and urged him not to relent  in his provision of dividends of democracy to his constituents.

Highlight on the occasion was presentation of certificates to the 400 trainees.
