Town Union Holds Mass Rally, Doles Awards To Past Executives

The people of Unubi Town in Nnewi South local government area of Anambra State has converged en Mass to mark their usual mass rally.

Mass Rally in Unubi is an annual event which saw the presence of the community both those living at home and in diaspora especially men folk who have registered.

According to the president -General of Unubi Town Development Union, Bar. Godwin Anayochukwu Okeke Esq, "this year's Mass Rally was featured awards of honour to the past executives ranging from the from the president -General to the least officer" 

He disclose that the award was for the meritorious service and gratitude to as well as to encourage others to work for the community, adding that those who could not receive their awards last year also receive it during this year's event.

He asserted that the event was a period every Unubians would assemble together including women wing, Igwe and his cabinet members, saying that it was a great occasion which offer the community to take decision and take stock of what happened in the previous years.

The PG encouraged all the Unubi youths to join the event, stating that Mass Rally is for the betterment of the entire Unubi Community, even as he pledged that his administration would move the community forward and equally represent them effectively.
