Anambra police commissioner's wife admonishes police officers, wives as Okpoko residents commend divisional police officer for efficient policing

Pastor Mrs Joan Favour Itam wife of anambra state police commissioner has admonishes police officers in the state to always be diligent, honest, patriotic ,trust as well as obey God, and theirs seniors that they will Excel in their chosen profession.
Giving this admonition to every police officers in the state while speaking during a friendly courtesy visit she undertook to Okpoko police division ogbaru LGA last week, Pastor Mrs Itam while describing policing as a noble profession urged all officers in the Okpoko police division including members of police officers wives association (POWA) who grouped out to receive her despite not notified in time that the society requires them to perform their duties professionally by not engaging in malpractices or anything that will soil the image of the police in the state stressing that they will pursue their jobs with fear of God.
Speaking on domestic lives of officers in their home front, the woman of God charges police officers wives to always prays for their husbands for God protection and guidance in their jobs noting that it is only help their husbands to succeed.
On side of male officers, he admonished them not to relent in showing practical love to them by making sure they provided for their wives the needful especially sufficient money to run their homes when they are on duty.
Insisting that women Are costodian of the house, Pastor Itam advised officers to provide money to women in order to be able to run the household sufficiently.
Earlier, CSP Ewelu Owai, D.P.O. Okpoko police division while welcoming the wife of the comissioner had thanked her for her motherly care and prayers for police officers in the state.
while saying that the prayers of the woman of God is helping police operation in the state,he stated that he hoped that the visit will usher in more peace, love and harmony among the station officers and (POWA) members.
Speaking to newsmen immediately after the brief ceremony in his office, Chief Ndubuisi Ochiogu, the president general of Ogbaru main market, the largest market in Ogbaru LGA.who was slated to chairman the occasion who was unavoidably absent as a result of extingencies of his office, as well as other like, Okpoko stake holders, landlords association, Keke riders, park managers etc all commended the divisional police officer CSP Ewelu Owai noting that since his arrival that policing in the area has improved tremendously adding that the people of the area are now feeling the impact of police in almost area especially black spots zone.
Said the market leader, we are now enjoying a perfect synergy between the police in the area with other security like vigilante, baby, army etc. I believe this was made possible by the divisional police officer.
