Hon. Minister of health, Dr. Mohammud Ali Pate is billed to be at Nnewi tomorrow, Wednesday, to commission Nnamdi Azikwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) permanent site and other infrastructures within the NAUTH permanent site.

Among the projects to be commissioned by the Minister, include Newly Completed GOPD Complex which will be named Dr. Cletus Ibeto Complex, 250 bed medical complex to be named Sir Emeka Offor medical complex as well as other vital infrastructures.

Also to be commissioned are, two oxygen plants that will be sited inside the school as well as other ground breaking projects like regional ultra mordern radio diagnostic center south east region, that will reduce medical tourism to overseas countries among Nigerians.

Prof. Joseph Ugboaja, the Chief medical director of the institution made this disclosure in a press conference noting that the institution decided to honour these great men based on their exemplary and consistent interest in seeing to the development of the institution specifically singling out Dr. Cletus Ibeto for his love and interest in financing most of the physical structures in the school.

He added that apart from those to be honoured during the commissionning that they are going to bring out a day to honour other distinguished philanthropists like the famous Igbo billionaire Engr. Arthur Eze who he pointed out his contribution to the upgrading the institution's infrastructures as outstanding.

Highlight of the occasion according to the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Mohammud Ali Pate, will be the honouring of two business Mogul Sir Emeka Offor CEO of Crome oil and EEDC Electricity, Dr. Cletus Ibeto an Nnewi born business icon and the traditional ruler of Nnewi HRM Kenneth Orizu as well as others for their outstanding contribution to the infrastructural development of the health Institution.
