A 5 storey building under construction within the premises  of Dennis Memorial Grammar School, GMGS, Onitsha, Anambra State, has in the wee hours of today, collapsed, with no lives lost in the incident

According to impeccable inside source, that pleaded anonymity, "We heard deafening sound at about 6.30 am today and on coming out we saw that the 5 storey building  within DMGS school premises has collapsed and luckly school was not in session as the students were on little holiday.

"The building was under going finishing touches and it is the old boys of the school that are building it not the church. It gulped a huge sum of money to bring that building to the level it was before its collapse and we are yet to know the cause.

"It has been under construction for years and you know the old boys association, it is when they realize money they continue with the project. It was a very large building close to DMGS round-about.

"Workers were not there when it collapsed, like I said works take place occasionally, today that it collapsed no worker there nor students and that is God in action," he stated.

Meanwhile, there has not been reaction from the Anglican church in whose premises the incident happened and people were seen trouping in just to have a glimpse of the incident as at the time of filing this report.
